Did not enjoy Delta Wedding. Story of family wedding told from perspective of a 9-year-old girl. Interesting concept but felt like nothing being said or happening. Stopped reading.
However, Welty's short story, A Worn Path, I found very beautiful. About a very old lady making her way on foot to a clinic to get help for her grandson.
