The Dreamer’s Digest
2017, Blessing Okoro
Blessing Okoro is a former student of mine who impressed me with her determination. She wrote this inspirational book about the importance of living out your dreams, where she provides the reader with personal stories, original poems, and advice.
The introductory poem, “Who am I without a dream?,” expresses the need we all have for dreams in order to live. But in later chapters Blessing exhorts us to “stop having dreams, start acting,” and shares with us her difficult passage from dream to action.
The book includes helpful hints on how to dream, but also how to stop just dreaming!
