Thoughts on Gender
Native American Two-Spirits group

Not all cultures have the same outlook on gender.

For example, Native North American societies use the expression Two-Spirits to designate identities that Occidental societies call trans or non-binary.

The Arctic Inuits decide a child’s gender based on the gender of the ancestor of whom he/she is supposed to be the reincarnation, rather than based on the child’s sex.
